Galaxy C5 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, with a global score of 76.4 against 74.1. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy C5 has older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Even though the Galaxy C5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 were only released with a few months difference, the Galaxy C5 is somewhat lighter and thinner.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy C5, because although it has a just a little worse pixel amount per inch in the display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also counts with a quite larger display. The Galaxy C5 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Galaxy C5 also has a larger camera aperture and a higher resolution back camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with a much better battery duration than Galaxy C5, because it has a 58 percent bigger battery capacity.
