Comparison review

The Galaxy J8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, having a 76.7 score against 74.1. The Galaxy J8 design is newer and a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's, but it's also a little bit heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy J8 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a better screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 and more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy J8 features a little bit better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy J8 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features superior battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh. Samsung Galaxy J8 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low light situations and a higher resolution back facing camera.
