Comparison review
Galaxy M12 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, getting a general score of 80 against 74.1. Although Galaxy M12 is noticeably newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy M12 has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Galaxy M12 counts with a processing unit that's just as good as the CPU in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, both of them have 8 cpu cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a sharper screen than Galaxy M12, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a better count of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M12 shoots much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy M12 features a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M12 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB.
The Galaxy M12 features a way better battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a 46 percent larger battery size.
