Comparison review
Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, with a score of 79.3 against 74.1. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 5 has older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Although Galaxy Note 5 is older and a little bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, it's design is still just a bit thinner.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also has a higher number of cores (although slower). The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a higher count of pixels per inch in the display, a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a camera in the back with a better 16 MP resolution and a larger aperture. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a really longer battery life than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 37% greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 5, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, resigning a couple features and specifications.
