Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a score of 80.4, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's overall score of 74.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition construction is just a little heavier but a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and they were only released 5 months apart. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution, a better screen density and a quite larger screen.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features just a bit bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. They have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a back camera with a worse 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture and a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has superior battery life than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 28 percent greater battery size.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
