Comparison review

Galaxy XCover Pro is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, getting an 81 score against 74.1. The Galaxy XCover Pro design is way newer than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's, but it is thicker and notably heavier. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover Pro has the older 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat version.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy XCover Pro, although it has a little smaller display, a little lower count of pixels per inch of display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 1920. Galaxy XCover Pro features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. They have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM.

Galaxy XCover Pro has more storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy XCover Pro also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy XCover Pro's battery lifetime is just as good as the battery duration in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, although the Galaxy XCover Pro has a 1 percent smaller battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro shoots clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro also has a way more mega-pixels camera in the back and a larger aperture to capture better images in low-light situations.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
