Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, getting a general score of 76.2 against 74.1. Although Xiaomi Mi MIX and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 were only released 3 months apart, Xiaomi Mi MIX's body is just a little bit thinner but also noticeably heavier. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi MIX has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, less brightness and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Mi MIX features just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also has a greater number of cores. Xiaomi Mi MIX has just a bit better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 4100mAh.
Xiaomi Mi MIX captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have a F2 diafragm aperture, the Xiaomi Mi MIX also has a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a better 16 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
