Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has an overall score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's 74.1 score. Even though Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 were released only 9 months apart, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's body is just a little thinner but also heavier. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 features a slightly better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920, a bit smaller screen and a quite inferior pixels amount in each inch of screen.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has a back facing camera with lesser mega pixels, and they both have the same camera aperture, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 also counts with a lot higher (4K) video resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, else you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, resigning some specs and features.
