Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has an overall score of 76, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's 74.1 score. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has older 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Even though the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 were released with only a couple months difference, Xiaomi Mi Note 2's design is a bit thinner but just a little bit heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 feature very similar CPUs, because although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920px, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a bit bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 both count with very similar batteries performance, although the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has just 4070mAh of battery size instead of 4100mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, although it has a way worse 1920x1080 video quality and a camera in the back with way less mega pixels resolution, they both have a F2 camera aperture.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, giving up a couple specs and features.
