The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's 71.8 global score. The LG V30S ThinQ body is newer, just a little bit lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. Both devices we are comparing use Android OS, but LG V30S ThinQ has 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, providing a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a little larger display, a higher pixel amount per screen inch and a much higher 1440 x 2880 resolution. The LG V30S ThinQ has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in low light situations, a back-facing camera with more mega-pixels and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The LG V30S ThinQ has a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 96 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features improved battery duration than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, resigning some specs and features.
