Galaxy M30 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, getting an 82.4 score against 71.8. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Galaxy M30's body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, but it's a little bit heavier.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a little faster CPU than Galaxy M30, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X and the Galaxy M30 feature similar displays, because although the Galaxy M30 has a just a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px.
Galaxy M30 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M30 also has a larger aperture. The Samsung Galaxy M30 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 96 GB more internal memory.
The Galaxy M30 has greater battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4100mAh.
