Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 5 has a general score of 79.3, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's 71.8 overall score. Galaxy Note 5 is an older and just a little bit heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, but Samsung could make it just a little thinner anyway. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 5 has an older 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has a little faster processor than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 features a better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a better display density, a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit bigger screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has slightly more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note 5 features a superior camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a more megapixels camera, a lot higher (4K) video resolution and a bigger aperture.
Although Galaxy Note 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, resigning a couple specifications.
