Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, having an 83 score against 71.8. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it counts with a couple nice extra features and better performance. The Galaxy Note8 body is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a better screen pixel density, a little larger screen and a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because although it has a back facing camera with a lower resolution, it also counts with a way better video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and video.
