Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, getting a score of 83.3 against 71.8. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but Xiaomi Mi 8 has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even though Xiaomi Mi 8 is just a little heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, it's a little thinner and newer.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2248, a quite greater pixels number in each display inch and a bit larger display. Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has more RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because although it has a back facing camera with less megapixels, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos in poorly lited environments and a lot better 3840x2160 video quality.
