Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a general score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X's score of 71.8. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro body is newer and just a little bit thinner, but also just a bit heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, giving some extra features.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a display that is just as good as the screen in Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a bit larger screen, a just a bit better screen pixels density and a slightly better 1080 x 2160 resolution. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 4100mAh battery capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X also has a larger aperture for better images and videos in low-light environments and a better 13 MP resolution back-facing camera.
