Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, with a 76.6 score against 71.8. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has the older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's construction is way newer, but heavier and just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 count with incredibly similar CPUs, they have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 count with incredibly similar displays, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a just a bit lower count of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a bigger display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 4100mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a way better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light images and video and a back-facing camera with a much better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
