Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a 79.5 score against 75.8. Both devices in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has an older 14 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is a way newer device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a much more powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little worse display pixel density, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution.
Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a much better video quality, a back camera with a much better 50 MP resolution and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light images. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
