Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X2 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Huawei Mate X2 construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it is a lot heavier.
The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate X2 features a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a way larger display, a just a little better quantity of pixels per inch of display and a way better resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels.
