Huawei Nova 9 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a general score of 81 against 75.8. The Huawei Nova 9 design is much newer, just a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Nova 9 has an older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Huawei Nova 9 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Nova 9 also has more RAM.
