Huawei P40 is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting an 86.4 score against 75.8. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Huawei P40 has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Huawei P40's body is newer and a little lighter, but also just a bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Huawei P40 features a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a quite bigger screen, a little higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei P40 has a little bit more memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
