Huawei P40 Lite is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a 79.5 score against 75.8. Both devices we compare here work with Android OS, but Huawei P40 Lite has an older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Even though the Huawei P40 Lite is extremely newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's just a little thicker and a bit heavier.
Huawei P40 Lite features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. They have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei P40 Lite has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and a quite bigger screen.
The Huawei P40 Lite features just a bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite features a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
