The Moto G 5G is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a global score of 81.5 against 75.8. These phones work with Android OS, but Moto G 5G has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Moto G 5G body is way newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
