Comparison review
Moto G8 Plus has a general score of 77.6, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 score. The Moto G8 Plus design is newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's, although it's a little bit heavier and thicker. The Motorola Moto G8 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro have very similar displays, because although the Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a bit lower pixel count in each inch in the display, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a slightly better 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution.
The Motorola Moto G8 Plus features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Moto G8 Plus has a greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G8 Plus also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Moto G8 Plus takes a lot better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a lot bigger aperture to take better low light images and video and a back-facing camera with a much better resolution. Motorola Moto G8 Plus's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
