The Galaxy C5 is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a global score of 76.4 against 75.8. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy C5 has an older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although Galaxy C5 is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's design is somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy C5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy C5 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro have really similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy C5 has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better display density.

Samsung Galaxy C5 features as much storage to install applications and games as Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy C5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy C5 also has a larger diafragm aperture and a much better 16 MP resolution camera.
