Galaxy Fold is a lot better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, getting a 97.6 score against 75.8. Even though Galaxy Fold is notably heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's somewhat thinner and also newer. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Galaxy Fold counts with a display that's just as good as the display in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although the Galaxy Fold has a little bit worse count of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1536 x 2152 pixels and a larger screen. Galaxy Fold has a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Fold also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a little longer battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
The Galaxy Fold has a much better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a same resolution camera, the Galaxy Fold also has a lot bigger camera aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited environments and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
