Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a score of 76.7, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 general score. The Samsung Galaxy J8 is a a little lighter cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but both of them are equally thin. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy J8 has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a much better looking screen than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a higher pixel number in each inch of screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy J8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 has just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a lot better resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger diafragm aperture.
