Galaxy Note 3 has an overall score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 overall score. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 3 has 5.0 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Galaxy Note 3's design is a bit lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it is just a little bit thicker and was released 5 years before.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has less RAM memory and a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a little bit smaller screen and a little bit worse pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a slightly bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 128 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Galaxy Note 3 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy Note 3 also has a back camera with more mega-pixels and a much higher (4K) video definition.
