Comparison review
The Galaxy Note3 has a score of 77.7, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 general score. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note3 has 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy Note3 is an a lot older and just a little bit thicker cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but Samsung managed to build it just a bit lighter anyway.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Note3, because it has a quite bigger display, a slightly better 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and a bit more pixels per inch in the display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Galaxy Note3 both count with very similar CPUs, although the Galaxy Note3 has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note3 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note3 also has a much higher 3840x2160 video definition and a better resolution back camera. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
