The Galaxy S5 Sport has an overall score of 77.8, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's score of 75.8. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S5 Sport has older 4.4.2 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Despite of the fact the Galaxy S5 Sport is much older and a bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it's design is still lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less processing cores , it also counts with an additional GPU. Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 43% larger battery size.
Galaxy S5 Sport features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S5 Sport also has a way better resolution camera in the back and a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
