Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, with an 80.1 score against 75.8. Both of these devices have the same Android 8.0 Oreo OS (Operating System). The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a noticeably newer cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it's noticeably heavier and a lot thicker.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a much better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a little better battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro captures a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, although it has a way tinier aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, they both have a 12 MP camera in the back, the same video quality and the same video frame rate.
