The Xperia 5 III has a global score of 90.5, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 global score. The Xperia 5 III construction has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but it is a little lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 5 III has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Xperia 5 III counts with a little faster processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia 5 III also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia 5 III features just a bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels, a little bit more pixels per screen inch and a bit larger screen.
Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 192 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB.
