The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 general score. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Xperia XZ2 Premium design is noticeably thicker and a lot heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a much greater pixel density. Xperia XZ2 Premium takes much better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a back-facing camera with a much higher 19 mega-pixels resolution, a bigger aperture for better low-light images and videos and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13 percent greater battery capacity.
