The Xiaomi Mi Max has a general score of 77.5, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 general score. The Xiaomi Mi Max is an older and heavier phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, but Xiaomi was able to build it just a bit thinner anyway. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a bit faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also has more RAM.

The Xiaomi Mi Max has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity.
