Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a overall score of 77.5 against 75.8. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's design is heavier but just a little thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and they were released with only 9 months difference. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher pixel density and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has greater battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 33 percent greater battery capacity.
