Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an overall score of 76.6, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's 75.8 overall score. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's body is much newer, but a bit thicker and a little heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 both count with similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a just a little worse display pixels density, it also counts with a little larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 both feature really similar memory to install games and applications, both of them have equal 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots way better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photos in low light situations and a much more mega-pixels camera.
