Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, having a 79 score against 75.8. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S design is incredibly newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S feature very similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a just a bit worse display pixel density, it also counts with a little larger screen and a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a greater storage to install applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 26% more battery size.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a larger aperture for better low-light photography and videos.
