Comparison review
HTC One M9 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a 77.7 score against 74.4. HTC One M9 is an a lot older and thicker cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but HTC managed to make it lighter anyway. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
HTC One M9 features a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and a GPU. The HTC One M9 has a more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a bit lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better count of pixels in each inch of screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has much more storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. HTC One M9 takes better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a way more MP back facing camera and a way higher (4K) video definition.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a superior battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 41% greater battery capacity.
