Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 lite is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, with a 76.2 score against 74.4. The Huawei Mate 20 lite design is a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although both of them were released only a couple of months apart. These devices have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 lite has newer 8.1 Oreo version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat, so it offers some extra features and performance improvements.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a little higher pixel density, a quite larger display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340. Huawei Mate 20 lite features a bigger storage for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

The Huawei Mate 20 lite features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has a larger camera aperture for better captures and video in poorly lited situations, higher 60 frames per second video frame rate and a much higher 20 mega pixels resolution camera.
