The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is a lot better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's global score of 74.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate X has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Huawei Mate X is a newer cellphone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although it is notably heavier and thicker.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a larger amount of RAM.
