Huawei Mate Xs is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a general score of 91.6 against 74.4. Although Huawei Mate Xs is noticeably newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it is a lot heavier and way thicker. Huawei Mate Xs counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate Xs also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Huawei Mate Xs has a little bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a just a bit greater pixel density, a really larger display and a way higher 2200 x 2480 pixels resolution. The Huawei Mate Xs shoots way better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera, a much better (4K) video resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
The Huawei Mate Xs features a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
