The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's 74.4 global score. These phones have Android OS, but the Huawei P40 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Huawei P40 design is noticeably newer and a bit lighter, but a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
The Huawei P40 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 also has more RAM.
