Comparison review
The LG Q70 has a general score of 77.9, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's 74.4 overall score. LG Q70's body has the same thickness than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, but it's just a little heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but the LG Q70 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
LG Q70 features a screen that's very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's display, because although the LG Q70 has a just a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with a quite larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2310 resolution. LG Q70's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, both have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores.
The LG Q70 has a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the LG Q70 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. LG Q70 counts with a battery duration that's very similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's battery duration.
LG Q70 takes way better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a much higher (4K) video quality, a bigger aperture for better photos and video in low light situations and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
