Comparison review
Moto G8 Power is slightly better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting a score of 76 against 74.4. The Moto G8 Power construction is noticeably newer, but just a little bit heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. Both phones we are comparing here come with Android OS, but the Moto G8 Power has older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Moto G8 Power has a processing unit that's just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 one, both of them have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. Moto G8 Power has a display that's very similar to the screen in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although the Moto G8 Power has a just a little lower number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2300 resolution.
The Moto G8 Power features a quite bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Moto G8 Power also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Power captures better videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has a lot more megapixels back facing camera, a way larger camera aperture for better low-light images and video and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Moto G8 Power has improved battery life than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
