Comparison review
Galaxy A22 is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a 76.1 score against 74.4. These phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A22 has the older 12 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Galaxy A22's body is way newer than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's, but it's a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a greater screen density. The Samsung Galaxy A22's processing unit is very similar to the processor in Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
Galaxy A22 counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A22 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1 TB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A22.
Samsung Galaxy A22 has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy A22 also has a camera in the back with lot more MP and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures and videos in low-light environments.
