Galaxy A40 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having a global score of 79.6 against 74.4. The Galaxy A40 construction is newer, noticeably lighter and just a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. These phones include Android operating system, but Galaxy A40 has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat.
