Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Alpha has an overall score of 76.3, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's score of 74.4. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has 4.4.4 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Samsung Galaxy Alpha's construction is thinner and extremely lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (but faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Galaxy Alpha features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although it has a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720, a just a bit inferior pixel number per display inch and a really smaller display.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Alpha features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera and a F2.2 diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Alpha also has a much better (4K) video definition.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
