Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy C5 has an overall score of 76.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5's score of 74.4. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy C5 has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat. The Samsung Galaxy C5 construction is thinner and a lot lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although it was released just 21 months before.
Galaxy C5 features a screen that is just as good as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 one, because although the Galaxy C5 has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels number in each inch in the screen. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy C5. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy C5 both count with quite similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, they have equal internal storage and an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy C5 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy C5 also has a larger aperture to capture better low light images and video and a lot more megapixels back facing camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy C5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
