Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, getting an 81.2 score against 74.4. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Even though the Galaxy Note 3 is much older and just a bit thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's construction is still a bit lighter.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a brighter display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a just a bit inferior number of pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features slightly more memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and lesser CPU cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Note 3 captures clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Galaxy Note 3 also has a way higher video resolution and a more mega pixels camera.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features longer battery performance than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 25 percent greater battery capacity.
