Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note3 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, with a overall score of 77.7 against 74.4. Although Samsung Galaxy Note3 is extremely older and just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, it's design is still just a bit lighter. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note3 has 4.4.2 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note3, because it has a quite better 1080 x 2160px resolution, a little bit bigger display and a bit higher pixel number per inch in the display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note3, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features a little bit more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
