Comparison review
The Galaxy S10 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, having an 88.3 score against 74.4. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S10 has 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Galaxy S10's design is newer, somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Galaxy S10 features a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a better 1440 x 3040 resolution and a little larger display. The Samsung Galaxy S10 counts with a bit better processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S10 also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S10 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 features better battery lifetime than Galaxy S10, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy S10 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy S10 also has a way larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in low light environments and a much better 3840x2160 video quality.
